Rolex Air King Stainless Steel Men's Watch Ref 1002 - Automatic winding, acrylic crystal. Stainless steel case with smooth bezel ( 34.5 mm ) . Silver stick dial with Pool Intairdril Logo. Stainless steel Jubilee bracelet. Engraved James W. Bomar 3-31-55
Pre-owned with Rolex box. The Pool Intairdril watches are quite rare as they were produced by Rolex in the late 1970's into the early 1980's for Pool Intairdrill which was an oil servicing company. Pool Intairdrill supplied the labour, rigs, plant's etc to the big named oil companies, ie Oxy (Occidental), Agip and to the Libyan NOC (National Oil Company). The watches were given to Pool Intairdril employees typically as safety awards.
